Embattled IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has been denied bail by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

ASUU Strike: NANS, NAUS Meet, Threaten To Shut Down International Airports

The leaderships of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest (Zone D), and the National Association of University Students Southwest (NAUS), have met to discuss the prolonged strike by ASUU and the warning strike recently embarked on by ASUP.

Finance Minister Suspends Accountant-General Over Alleged N80 Billion Fraud

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Dr. Zainab Ahmed has suspended the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mazda CX-9 Receives 'Good' Rating In IIHS's New Side-Impact Test

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) announced today that the Mazda CX-9 received a "Good" rating in a new, more difficult side-impact test.

This was the second series of tests for vehicles from the model years 2021-2022, which included a more stringent test aimed at addressing more serious collisions by using a heavier barrier that travels at a faster speed to simulate the impacting vehicle. Read more here.

Obi Cubana, a Nigerian entrepreneur and businessman who chairs the Cubana Group, has cried out, claiming that someone is using his name to scam people.

ASUU: Zonal Coordinator Says LAUTECH Will Not Back Out Of Strike

The Zonal Coordinator of the Ibadan Zone of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof. Oyebamiji Oyegoke has said its members of the zone in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) will not back Out of the ongoing strike by the union.

Oyegoke made this known at a news conference in Ogbomoso on Wednesday, noting that the institution would experience a shift if public universities in the country are reworked. Read more here.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has totally banned motorcycles popularly called okada in the state.

Seplat Energy Plc has recorded a pre-tax profit of 177 million dollars for the year ended December 2021.
