Rochas Okorocha's daughter, Uloma Nwosu, has reacted to the arrest of her father by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Speaking on Arise TV on Wednesday, the daughter of the former governor stated that operatives of the anti-graft agency had not presented any legal document or arrest warrant to justify breaking into her father's residence. Read more here.

Okada: No Going Back On June 1 Ban, Says Lagos Government

The Lagos State government has stated that there will be no reversal on the ban on commercial motorcycles in some selected LGAs in the state.

The ban was announced by Governor Babajdie Sanwo-Olu on May 18, 2022, and it was disclosed that it affects six local government areas of the state from June 1, 2022. Read more here.

NCDMB Lauds Temile/Hyundai Deal To Build New LPG Vessel

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has lauded the signing of an agreement between an indigenous shipping company, Temile Development Company and Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) of South Korea.

A statement by the NCDMB’s Corporate Communications on Wednesday in Lagos said Simbi Wabote, Executive Secretary, NCDMB, made the commendation in a video message at the signing of the agreement by the parties in South Korea. Read more here.

ASUU Strike: Varsity, Polytechnic Lecturers To Get N34 Billion From FG

In a bid to put an end to the ongoing tertiary education strike, the Federal Government of Nigeria has stated that it would spend about N34 billion on the payment of minimum wage consequential adjustment arrears to workers in the Nigerian education sector with effect from 2019.
