Tribunal: Over 1,000 Nasarawa Women Stage Prayer Rally For PDP Candidate

Over 1,000 elderly women from all 13 Local Government areas of Nasarawa state came together for a prayer rally in support of the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. David Ombugadu.

Rescue Abducted Zamfara Students — President Tinubu To Security Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has directed security forces to rescue the recently abducted female students in Zamfara State. 

Last week, bandits raided the Sabon-Gida hamlet in the Bungudu Local Government Area of North-West state and kidnapped around 24 students from the Federal University of Gusau, Zamfara. Read more here.

Nigeria's Paediatric Dentist Ratio 84 for Over 200 Million Population, Says NAPD

According to the Nigerian Association of Paediatric Dentistry (NAPD), Nigeria currently has only 84 qualified paediatric dentists available to provide care for its children.

In a statement to the press on Sunday, Ify Adegbulugbe, the National President of NAPD, highlighted the challenges in children's oral healthcare, stating, "There are numerous challenges facing oral healthcare for children, and presently, there are only 84 paediatric dentists serving the needs of children in Nigeria."
