2. JAMB To Prosecute 200 Cheating Candidates With N100m

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said it would be spending not less than N100 million on the prosecution of 200 out of the over 400 candidates involved in impersonation during the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, made these known, Tuesday, in Abuja, at a press conference that over 400 candidates currently seeking admissions into institutions across the country were involved in admission fraud. He also said that the prevalence of fraudulent Computer Based Test, CBT, centers is increasing in the Northern part of the country. Read more here.
