Lassa Fever Alert: Cases Continue To Rise Across Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), disclosed on Sunday, that the cases of Lassa Fever have risen to 4,632 with 102 deaths recorded.

NCDC has warned Nigerians of the possibilities of Lassa fever presenting malaria-like symptoms such as fever, headache, sore throat, general body weakness, cough among others.

Ondo State had the highest number of deaths numbering 47, Edo reported 15 deaths, Bauchi 12, Taraba 12, Ebonyi 9, Kaduna 4, Enugu 1, and Nasarawa with two deaths. READ MORE

Traitors Are Behind Extended Detention Of Nnamdi Kanu — IPOB

The extended detention of Nnamdi Kanu is the work of saboteurs and traitors, IPOB claims.

According to a statement by Emma Powerful, the Media and Publicity Secretary to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), saboteurs and traitors held a meeting with President Buhari and advised him not to release Nnamdi Kanu.

Gunmen Kill Ebubeagu Security Operative, Set Body Ablaze In Ebonyi

Gunmen have killed Ifeanyi Orogbohow, a 32-year-old member of Ebubeagu Security Network in Ebonyi State.

The victim was murdered and partially burnt by the gunmen at night in Igweledeoha, Amagu in Ikwo Local Government Area.
