An indigenous oil firm, First Exploration and Petroleum Development Company Limited (First E & P), on Thursday, donated a solar-powered water project to Koluama 1 community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa.

NLNG Reiterates Commitment To 100% LPG Production To Domestic Market

The Nigerian LNG Ltd. has reiterated its commitment to ensuring 100 per cent Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) production to the domestic market to support the growth of LPG utilisation in the country.

The NLNG said it would also help to reduce the health, safety and environmental risks associated with the use of other domestic fuel sources. Read more here.

Scarcity: NMDPRA, Joint Task Force Raid, Arrest Black Marketers

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) in collaboration with the Joint Task Force on Jerrycan Peddlers on Tuesday raided and arrested some illegal petroleum product sellers to sanitise the industry.

The team, during monitoring and enforcement in Abuja, in view of the current fuel scarcity, seized over 1,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Diesel from illegal peddlers. Read more here.

PAP Trains Additional 450 Ex-Agitators In Oil Spill Response, Cleanup

The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) in the Niger Delta said that it has sent additional 450 ex-agitators to train in oil spill response, clean-up and remediation.

Its Interim Administrator, retired Col. Milland Dikio, said in a statement issued in Yenagoa over the weekend that the training is in line with PAP’s Train, Employ and Mentor (TEM) template. Read more here.
