We are a few hours away from the start of Big Brother Naija season 6 and the biggest feud between two of the most anticipated housemates on the lockdown (season 5) edition has finally been resolved.

Guess what? Laycon and Erica Nlewedim have reconciled. Yes, you heard right and we love to see it.

Both of the reality stars were spotted at a dinner party and they both uploaded videos of themselves saying that they are done fighting on Friday night.

Although Elites (Erica's fanbase) and iCons (Laycon's fanbase) are finding it hard to wrap their head around the reconciliation, they are taking steps towards it as seen on social media.

What Caused The Feud

Laycon and Erica started out as friends but things got awkward after he declared his romantic feelings for her. Erica made it clear that she was mentally attracted to him and physically attracted to Kiddwaya. Laycon on his part was later to ask Erica to give him some space.

However, things went south after  Ebuka put Laycon on the spot by asking why he claimed that Erica tried to kiss him multiple times on the Sunday night eviction show. This infuriated Erica as she claimed never did she try to kiss him multiple times.

Recall that a major event that led to Erica's disqualification was that of the 7th Saturday night party, where the actress, who was intoxicated by alcohol, confronted Laycon, threatening to make him suffer and body shaming him.

She had said, “You are a fool. You are lying that I tried to kiss you. You can prove that I tried to kiss you? I’m only attracted to your brain. You are a short fool, your whole body is like a broomstick. One week has passed and you can’t prove that I tried to kiss you severally. As skinny and ugly as you are, you don’t have anything to trend with. Why are you always talking about me in the first place?

“The only thing Ebuka always asks you about is Erica. Your whole body is like the drumstick of a chicken."

Although Laycon had remained calm during the whole outburst, some BBNaija fans called him a manipulative person and accused him of making Erica go overboard with her emotions, which eventually led to her disqualification.

The Reunion Show

At the reunion show, they both addressed their complex situation.

While speaking on the relationship with Laycon, Erica said she doesn’t care about him and had not spoken about the issue since they left the house. She also called Laycon a snake that pretends so he can be pitied. 

Erica said that she feels stupid for calling Laycon her best friend back in the house and called the rapper insignificant.

On Laycon's part, he said that the situation with Erica could have been avoided and would probably be mended.

However, he would rather have his supporters focus on his music career and growth than engage them in discussing the past issues he had while in the house.
