Laycon Drops 'Verified' Music Video Featuring Mayorkun

Nigerian rapper, Olamilekan 'Laycon' Agbeleshe, has dropped the official music video of 'Verified' featuring DMW act, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun.

The single is off his latest album “Shall We Begin” which is a music project that saw him establish himself in the Nigerian music industry.

'Verified', which is one of the biggest hit songs on Shall We Begin, is the second video off the album, after the release of 'Fall for Me' featuring YKB.

Laycon had earlier shared a sixteen-second snippet of the video on his Instagram page on June 18. The clip includes a scene in which Laycon and Mayorkun’s car obstructs the flow of traffic and this, in turn, leads to an exchange of words with a female road user.

Laycon came into the limelight after participating and winning the 2020 lockdown edition of Big Brother Naija.

Prior to his participation in the show, Laycon said he usually begs people to listen to his music. But the 27-year-old rapper believed that his life would change as soon as he leaves the house as he might not need to introduce himself to people anymore.

While he was on the lockdown edition of BBNaija, he had used every opportunity to promote his music and said that he doesn't really care about winning but only wanted the fame that comes with being in the reality show to help him boost his music career.

The rapper was recently spotted in the same studio room with Wizkid and we are thinking something is up.
