    Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has asked Lekan Balogun and other Ibadan high chiefs who were promoted to Obaship status to revert to their former positions.

    Makinde made this known while speaking on the controversy surrounding the successor to the throne of Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, who died on January 2, 2022.

    The governor paid a condolence visit to the family of the late monarch on Tuesday.
