Lekki Massacre: PDP Asks ICC To Bring Those Responsible For

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the International Criminal Court (ICC) to bring those responsible for the killings of the #ENDSARS protesters in Lekki toll gates to book.

Making this call in a statement by its Kola Ologbodiyan it's National Publicity Secretary on Tuesday, PDP condemned in strong terms the killing of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos as well as other parts of our country.

Also, the party expressed shock that President Muhammadu Buhari led administration could deploy security agents and, thugs to end the lives of promising Nigerians.

Further calling on President Buhari to bring the culprit of the heinous  crime to book the statement by PDP read:

"@OfficialPDPNig condemns in very strong terms, the killing of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos as well as other parts of our country.

"It is shocking that security agents and, in some cases,thugs, were reportedly deployed to end the lives of promising Nigerians.

"Those responsible for the heinous murder of the innocent and harmless Nigerians must account for their nefarious acts. @OfficialPDPNig  calls @Mbuhari  to immediately direct an end to these wanton killings across our nation.

"We invite @ICC to bring all those responsible for the needless death of these very young Nigerians to justice," the statement by PDP read.

It will be recalled that Femi Fani-Kayode a chieftain of the PDP  had earlier assured Nigerians that the leadership of Nigeria and Lagos will be charged to the criminal court in due time.
