Lekki Shooting: Ruggedman Fumes, Curses Any Entertainer Seen At Political Function

Nigerian rapper Michael Ugochukwu better known as Ruggedman has laid curses on any entertainer that will be gracing any political functions.

This is coming in the wake of outcries as a result of gunfire opened on #EndSars protestors at the Lekki tollgate area of Lagos state on Tuesday, October 20.

AllNews earlier reported that the protesters at the Lekki tollgate came under heavy gunfire, shortly after the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced a 24-hour curfew, due to perceived violence.

Several were injured as many fled for their lives upon the gunfire, after soldiers arrived at the protest ground around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 20.

Reacting to the incident in a tweet in the wee hours of Wednesday, Ruggedman said any entertainer seen at political function will "not die well."

"Any entertainer seen at any political function will not die well. The blood of all innocent Nigerians murdered will be on your head too," the rapper tweeted.

Meanwhile, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu earlier reacted to the opened gunfire at #EndSars protesters, saying "it is not time to trade blames."

In a statement on his social media pages, the governor described the incident as the toughest in history, blaming it on forces beyond their control.
