Let IPOB Have Their Biafra — Northern Groups

Let IPOB Have Their Biafra — Northern Groups

Harira Jibril was murdered alongside four of her children on Sunday evening

The Chairman of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG), Nastura Ashir Sharif has backed the agitations of IPOB to have their country, stating that the notorious killing of northerners in the South-Eastern part of the country is sickening.

Their Chairman also called on Northern leaders to start taking measures to relocate Northers in the South East and other parts of the country back home to save their lives.

Natura Ashri Sharif said this after the killing of nine-month pregnant Harira and her four female children by members of IPOB along Isulo, Orumba North Local Government Area of the state, on Sunday.

Late Harira was coming back from visiting her husband, Jibrin Ahmed, who works as a gateman at a home in Anambra state, when she was waylayed and shot alongside four of her children, and other Northerners on the same route.

He said some members of the South East have for a long time been engaged in selective killing of Northerners to the extent of removing them from travel buses, then killed.

Lamenting how leaders in all parts of the country have also become selective in killings they chose to condemn or comment on, Nastura said there is nothing special about Nigeria remaining a single country.

He urged stakeholders to ensure that Biafra and any other part that wants to go its way have their wish, adding that Igbos should also prepare to leave the Northern region for their homes.

Sharif said Northerners should be given safe passage back home, and the Igbos should also be allowed to move out to their homes for peace to reign.
