LG Display To Demonstrate Innovative OLED Technology

LG Display announced on Tuesday that its next-generation OLED solutions will be on display at the 2022 Society for Information Display (SID) conference in San Jose, California, from May 10 to 12.

LG Display is expected to demonstrate the evolution and versatility of OLED technology by revealing cutting-edge OLED products ranging from its next-generation OLED.EX to Bendable and Foldable OLED screens, in the hopes of bolstering its OLED leadership.

LG Display will make its 97-inch OLED. EX TV display, public for the first time during SID 2022. The display is designed to use the company's EX technology to increase brightness by 30%, resulting in better picture quality with more realistic details and colors for a more engaging viewing experience.

The company's 42-inch Bendable OLED Gaming display, which has a curvature range of up to 1,000R, or a radius of 1,000mm, is one of the breakthrough goods on display.

This allows the screen to bend and straighten, allowing users to customize their screen to the game or show they're viewing for the most immersive experience possible.

LG Display also intends to debut an entirely new type of foldable OLED technology this year.

The company said that it will first show off its 8-inch 360-degree Foldable OLED, which can freely fold inward and outward.

It also employs a unique folding structure to reduce creasing, resulting in a pleasant and cutting-edge user experience.

The company is also expected to unveil the world's largest 17-inch Foldable OLED Laptop, which increases adaptability by allowing users to easily transition from tablet to laptop to portable monitor.

LG Display will also demonstrate its large-scale OLED in-TOUCH and Transparent OLED in-TOUCH technologies for OLED panels.

While maintaining a small form and excellent image quality, the new touch technologies deliver an interactive and improved touch-screen experience.

The company will also display OLED solutions that are expected to open up new markets.

The world's largest vehicle P-OLED display, the 34-inch P-OLED, features an ergonomic design structure with maximum curvature of 800R, allowing the driver to see the dashboard and navigation system at the same time.

Furthermore, the 0.42-inch OLEDoS (OLED on Silicon) display designed exclusively for Augmented Reality (AR) devices uses semiconductor silicon wafers to provide vivid AR graphics with up to 3,500 pixels per inch.

LG Display will demonstrate its OLED home solutions. The 55-inch Transparent OLED Shelf is the greatest method to view content, show art, and provide an interior impression to the room through Always On Display mode, among other things.
