Jigawa intending Pilgrims who left for Saudi Arabia earlier today had an emergency landing at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport after lightening struck a part of the plane.
The Max Air plane Boeing 747 aircraft departed the Dutse airport in Jigawa State for Saudi Arabia.
It had to find a safe landing when it was hit by lightening that affected the noose of the airplane.
Some of the intending Hajj pilgrims were shocked and scared, with others thinking death was too near for comfort.
The aircraft with registration number, Max B747-HMM with over 500 passengers onboard and 21 crew is currently at MAKIA.
