Ligue 1: 'He Is A Complete Player'- Messi Tips PSG Star Mbappe For Greatness

Argentina Captain Lionel Messi has showered praises on his PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe describing him as a 'complete player' after the France international's strong start to the 2022-23 Ligue 1 season.

Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have combined to devastating effect to help PSG stay top of the Ligue 1 table.

The Parisiens are also unbeaten this season, winning seven and drawing one out of the first eight matches of the season.

Messi has described the former Monaco star as a different player and tipped him to be among the best in the future.

“Kylian is a different player, a beast who is very strong in one-on-one, who goes into space, who is very fast, who scores a lot of goals.

"He is a complete player, and he has proved it for years, and in the years to come, he will certainly be among the best.”

Mbappe has scored a whopping 181 goals for PSG in 226 appearances for the Ligue 1 Champions.

The former Barcelona captain also opened up about his relationship with Brazilian star Neymar.

“With Neymar, we know each other by heart, we enjoyed a lot of time together in Barcelona.

"I would have liked to have been able to enjoy that for longer at Barcelona, but life found us again in Paris.

"We are happy to be together, I love playing with him, being with him on a day-to-day basis.”

The trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, with Neymar leading the Ligue 1 scorers chat chipping in 8 goals, while Mbappe has scored seven goals.

Messi has scored four goals and recorded seven assists in eight matches for PSG in the Ligue 1 this season.
