Ligue 1: PSG Move Six Points Clear With 3-1 Win Over Troyes

Paris Saint-Germain have moved six points clear at the top of Ligue 1 following their 3-1 victory over Troyes on Sunday.

Kylian Mbappe scored a close-range header seven minutes into the game, levelling with Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette on 24 league goals this season.

Vitinha's right-footed finish in 58 minutes seemed to have put PSG on course for victory.

However, PSG lost their concentration and allowed Xavier Chavalerin to pull one back for Troyes.

PSG regained their focus and after Mbappe's poked finish from Renato Sanches was saved, Fabian Ruiz curled in the rebound to secure the win.

The win came after a troubled week for PSG, which saw angry fans protest outside the club's headquarters and at the home of injured Brazilian star Neymar after they lost to Lorient at home the previous weekend.

Additionally, the club suspended Lionel Messi for a reported two weeks after he made an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.

PSG will now look to build on their win when they face Stade de Reims next weekend.
