The internet organisation focused on business and jobs, LinkedIn has announced that it will be launching a number of new technologies that will enable producers to contribute more visual content.
LinkedIn made the announcement in its most recent blog post that it needed to change course and adapt its platform to better serve the aforementioned demographic due to the rise of creators and influencers
The "clickable link" is one of the technologies that will enable producers to post links to their photographs and movies.
On or off LinkedIn, LinkedIn claimed it would assist creators in generating traffic for their websites, accounts, events, and newsletters.
When users create a new post on a mobile device with a picture or a video, they can use the functionality by selecting the "Add a link" icon to do so in the upcoming weeks.
Additionally, LinkedIn users will soon be able to use the "Templates" tool, which will essentially make their few-word postings stand out more using various fonts and background colours.
Soon, it will be accessible by selecting "Post" on a mobile device, followed by the "Use a template" option.
Last but not least, LinkedIn revealed that users may now test the "Carousels" function, which, as you might imagine, is based on the same idea as other social media platforms.
Users will be able to combine images and videos to present them in a swipeable way.
