Adekunle Gold has enlisted former Big Brother Naija housemate and dancer Rosaline Afije a.k.a. Liquorose for the official music video of his track 'Mercy'
Veteran singer Baba Fryo also makes an appearance in the music video.
This may be because 'Mercy' has an element of Baba Fryo's 'Dem Go Dey Pose' which he released in the late 1990s.
The music video was dropped today, Tuesday.
Liquorose plays a dancer in the video, and together with Baba Fryo, she saved Adekunle Gold from the evil of his friends.
'Mercy' is off Adekunle Gold's recently released album 'Catch Me If You Can'.
On 'Mercy', Adekunle Gold prays to God to have mercy in order to identify fake friends with fake love and overcome his enemies.
The Blaise Beatz-produced track which was dropped on January 21, serves as his first single of the year 2022.
