Olamide
Nigerian rapper Olamide has finally delivered on his promise with the release of his highly anticipated studio album titled ‘Unruly’, more than a year after its initial announcement.
The ‘Unruly’ album comprises 15 tracks and features collaborations with artistes like Fireboy DML, Asake, Rema, Ckay, and BNXN (formerly known as Buju). This new project follows his 2021 album ‘UY Scuti’.
Olamide recently unveiled that ‘Unruly’ is specifically centred around explicit content.
He mentioned that the album is tailored for those who appreciate such themes, specifically targeting women who identify as ‘baddies’ and men who admire them.
The rapper took to social media to caution fans seeking moralistic music, as ‘Unruly’ does not intend to carry any moral messages.
It’s worth noting that Olamide’s previous statement about ‘Unruly’ in February of 2022 raised discussions as he hinted at this release marking his retirement from music.
He expressed that he wanted to take his time to make the album the best possible and suggested it could potentially be his final album.
However, he also stated that he might drop occasional singles if he feels like it.
