Liverpool 21-year old offensive right back, Trent Alexander Arnold (TAA) has won the English Premier League Young Player of the Season award for the 2019-20 campaign. The English fullback was incredible contributing assists and goals towards Liverpool 30 years EPL title drought.
TAA contributed 14 assists in all competition with 4 crucial goals for the Reds during the campaign. He contributed 13 assists in the EPL, second only to Kevin De Bruyne.
He was shortlisted with Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Mason Mount, Jack Grealish, and Christian Pulisic.

He is a very fast player, capable of playing from the back especially from the right flank which he is very dangerous. He is good with set-pieces; corner kicks, free kicks. He is not really good defensively because of the offensive play but also has Van Virgil Dijk to provide cover for him.
He is a good reflection of modern full-backs able to go upfield, provide some offensive plays, and get back quickly to provide cover. TAA is young and would only continue to progress in the game.
