Local Vigilante Apprehends Two For Theft

An Iwo-based vigilante outfit, Ta'awunu has apprehended two men for suspected goat theft.

Both 25-year-old Sunday Wale Bakare and Ariyo Oluwasina were arrested in different locations of the ancient town on Friday morning.

While Bakare was arrested yesterday at about 1:30 am in the midnight around Habass Filling Station while driving a vehicle with a black inside the second suspect Ariyo Oluwasina was arrested at Oke-Afo Quarters, Iwo with the help of the community members as he attempted to broke a cage where the goats were kept.

The suspects AllNews Nigeria gathered are now in police custody.

Efforts made to get the Osun State Police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola to confirm the arrests proved abortive as she did not respond to phone calls put across to her.
