    A new Commissioner of Police, Patrick Kehinde Longe has been deployed to superintendent the Osun State Police Command.

    Longe is to replace Faleye Sunday Olaleye who had served in the role.

    Faleye, was transferred to Osun on the October 22, 2022, but the reason for his quick redeployment is unknown.

    Faleye was replaced by Patrick Kehinde Longe on December 7, 2022.

    The new Osun CP has previously served in Lagos and Oyo States.
