Following his engagement announcement to Eniola Mafe, veteran rapper M.I has appreciated his fans for their patience, saying that he will release new music soon.
On his Twitter page, M.I stated that now that his engagement announcement is over, he wants to focus so he can properly release his album.
He noted that his upcoming album is a classic and might win a Grammy.
"And now that that is all over… music coming soon. Now I can focus so I release this album properly.. because it is a classic.
"Might win a Grammy. I appreciate your patience", he shared.

In February, the rapper called on celebrities, especially the ones who spoke up and protested with the youths during the 2020 #EndSARS protest, to go get their Permanent Voters' Card (PVC) in preparation for the 2023 election.
The 40-year-old record producer implored celebrities to lead by example and show the public that they are ready to vote by getting their PVC.
M.I argued that although it is a little bit of an inconvenience, getting a PVC sends a powerful signal to the public.
