Rangers boss Abdul Maikaba is filled with optimism that his side will get the job done against Kano Pillars in Round 32 of the Federation Cup.
Both teams are billed to trade tackles at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Wednesday.
“It is going to be tough but I am optimistic that my players will do the needful on the pitch,” Maikaba stated.
“My optimism is drawn from the fact that we have been playing well lately.
“We are approaching the match like a cup final because there is no second chance in the Federation Cup.”
The last time they faced each other in the Federation Cup was five years ago when Rangers defeated Kano Pillars in the final.
