Makinde Swears In New Acting Chief Judge Of Oyo

A new Acting Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Iyabo Yerima has been sworn in.

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde performed the swearing-in ceremony on Monday in Ibadan.

The swearing-in of the new Acting Chief Judge, Justice Yerima, is coming a few days after Justice Muntar Abimbola bowed from the bench.

At the brief ceremony, which was held at the Executive Chamber, Secretariat, Ibadan, the governor stated that his administration will give the Acting Chief Judge the necessary support to carry out her duty diligently.

He added that his administration will continue to work with all other arms of government to ensure the judicial system is modernised.
