Jubilant residents of Osun on Wednesday trooped out to welcome the immediate past Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, into the state following the completion of his political appointment.
Aregbesola who was received by mammoth crowd in Ilesa and Osogbo was elated by the warm reception given to him by thousands of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other people of the state.
In Ilesa, Aregbesola in company of his wife Sherifat, also paid visit to the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromalara in his palace.
At the Owa Obokun's palace, Aregbesola presented a copy of account of his stewardship to the monarch.
In Osogbo, he paid a visit to the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo land, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji.
