Man Arraigned, Remanded For N18.5m Scam In Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja Zonal Command has arraigned Martin Chukwuma Agba at the FCT High Court, Kuje.

The suspect was arraigned on a one count charge before Justice C.E. Nwecheonwu.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The prosecution counsel, A.U Ringim asked the court to remand the defendant and fix a date for trial to commence.

Defence counsel, Femi Ajede applied orally for the bail of his client but Justice Nwecheonwu told him to file a formal application and remanded the defendant at Kuje Correctional Centre.

The matter was adjourned till March 23, 2023.
