Police in Delta State have arrested one Ogaga Kome for allegedly killing 11-year-old Hossanna Merritt while testing a locally made gun in his house.
The incident occurred last Monday at Ozoro community, Isoko North council area of Delta State.
The suspect had reportedly fled the community after the incident.
The Police Spokesman in the state, Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday.
“On 30/8/2022 at about 1305hrs, a well-meaning individual who is also a relative of the suspect brought him to the station.
The suspect is in custody and investigation is ongoing."
