Man Attempts Morning Suicide In Osogbo

One Oladeji Saheed has been rescued by concerned residents of Osogbo after he attempted to commit suicide early on Monday morning.

According to residents, Saheed jumped into the Osun River, a development which caused panic among residents in the area.

He was rescued by residents, Osun Ambulance Services and the State Fire Services.

It was also gathered that the man had tried to commit suicide severally but succeeded this time around 7 am.

Residents also said the man had gone to the where he attempted to commit suicide without the knowledge of family and friends.

He is receiving medical attention as of the time of filing this report.
