Man City Almost Crowned EPL Champions With Crystal's Defeat

Manchester City - Gallo Images

Manchester City are a touch from their third Premier League title in four years as Sergio Aguero and Ferran Torres' goals completed their 25th win of the season at Crystal Palace.

The City boss made eight changes from the midweek win in Paris, with only Ederson, Rodri and Joao Cancelo keeping their places as Aguero, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling came in.

After a dry first half in south London, Kun Aguero shrugged off his injured legs and rose to Etihad's rescue with a near-post finish.

It is a complete comeback for Pep Guardiola's side as they were languishing in 14th place in late November but a blistering run since then has carried them to the brink of a third title in four seasons.

Pep Guardiola's side sit 13 points clear at the top and will be crowned champions if second-placed Manchester United lose against Liverpool on Sunday.
