Man City: Date for trophy parade revealed

Manchester City are to mark their unprecedented four successive Premier League title triumphs with a victory parade on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola's 'City machines reached the four-in-a-row achievement with aplomb and their celebration has been postponed until after their FA Cup final game against Manchester United at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Manchester City Council leader Bev Craig said the parade would be an "unmissable night to remember" for fans and players.

The parade is taking place later in the day to allow the streets to be reset following the Great Manchester Run, which takes place earlier in the day.

City will begin the parade at 7.30 pm at The National Football Museum, finishing 90 minutes later on Deansgate.

Craig said: "Being crowned Premier League champions once again, and for an astonishing fourth year in a row, is an incredible achievement by the club and its players, showing once again that Manchester's world-class sporting credentials really are second to none."

City are also hoping to become the latest club to win the FA Cup in two consecutive seasons.
