Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola and midfielder, Illkay Gundogan have won the EPL coach and player of the month respectively again for the second time in a row.
The award which is dished out every month to the remarkable coach and player out of the 20 teams playing in the English top-flight has been won by the Etihad duo for February and January.
City maintained a six-in-six which help them stretch their winning streak to 14 and 20 in all competitions.
Gundogan won the award ahead of Jesse Lingard who has been able to rejuvenate his career at West Ham United on a loan spell.
He (Jesse) was a top contender for the accolade but Gundogan with his brace at Tottenham, assist against Burnley -- he was more outstanding than the English player.
Gundogan has been impressive despite missing the start of the campaign with City, he has been instrumental to their recent form, scoring at will.
If they remove their legs from the breaks and keep this form up, the award will surely be theirs till the end of the season.
