Man Hangs Himself On Mango Tree In Ekiti

Tunde Akindunbi, a middle-aged man has been found dead in Dallimore area of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Akindunbi was found hanging from a mango tree.

It was gathered that the incident could have happened in the middle of the night.

Although the cause of his death has not been ascertained as of the time of this report, neighbors said he was still seen at 8 pm on Friday.

Neighbours said the deceased was found in a position that suggests he committed suicide but others claimed the position was suspicious.

They are alleging that he may have been killed and hung to avoid any traces.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the Ekiti State Police Command, DSP Sunday Abutu said investigation has commenced into the matter.

He said two persons have been invited for questioning to assist the Command with necessary information.
