Man Utd Close Casemiro Deal, Anthony Strikes To Force Move F

Manchester United might be on the verge of changing their misfortunes this season with a blockbuster move for Brazilian midfielder Casemiro and Anthony trying to force a move from Ajax.

According to reports on Friday, Real Madrid have approved the deal for veteran midfielder Casemiro to leave Spain and join Manchester United in England.

The deal is said to be in the range of over  €70 million including add-ons and the option to extend for a further year.

Erik Ten Hag would not be getting his prime target -- Frenkie De Jong but an immediate solution in Casemiro could change United's season.

Man Utd's season have not been encouraging for fans, legends and players alike -- currently sitting 20th on the league standings with a -5 goal difference from their two opening games.

They face an even high hurdle when they welcome Liverpool to the Theatre of dreams for the third Premier League game.

But with the addition of Casemiro to the midfield, given the presence of Eriksen, and Bruno Fernandes already, Liverpool could be the one facing a tougher task -- especially with a winless streak they have been facing too.

Casemiro has also been excluded from Real Madrid's squad against Celta Vigo, while Ancelotti has given his blessing for him to leave the Spanish capital team.

With the accelerated nature of Casemiro's deal, he could be available for selection against Liverpool on Monday.

Another target that looks to take another twist recently is another Brazilian, Anthony who decided on Friday not to train with the first team but took some time at the gym after Ajax rejected United's latest bid.

Due to his absence from training, he could be exempted from the squad list for Ajax's away match against Sparta Rotterdam.

Anthony would be another huge signing for United given his young age, take-ons, scoring abilities and having played under Erik ten Hag.
