Man Utd Set To Sign Danish Playmaker Eriksen From Brentford

Manchester United are closing on the first signing in Erik Ten Hag's era with Danish player Christian Eriksen set to join Old Trafford.

Eriksen 30, has been able to revive his career after suffering a Cardiac arrest during the Euros 2020.

He had to leave Inter Milan as Serie A has a rule against using a defibrillator while playing for an Italian team.

After moving to Brentford, he has been able to revive his vision, pass and even composure in front of goal helping the Bees retain a spot in the top flight of English football.

He would be stepping up his career after he agrees to personal terms with Europa-League-bound Manchester United.

Compared to Tottenham Hotspur, Eriksen would be joining another if not a bigger side if he completes his move to Old Trafford.

It remains to be seen how he would fit into Ten Hag's plans with the Dutch going after Barcelona Frenkie De Jong and Donny van de Beek returning from loan.

Already in the squad, Man Utd have Bruno Fernandes, McTominay, and Fred with the departure of Paul Pogba on free.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, He would get a 3-year deal with offers sent to Brentford and Manchester United for approval.
