Man Utd's Eriksen Faces Three-Month Sideline After Injury

Christian Eriksen

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is out for 3 months with an ankle injury.

He left United's 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.

Eriksen has been key for United this season, playing 31 of 32 games and scoring 2 goals and providing 9 assists. He joined the club last year from Brentford.

United manager Erik ten Hag expressed disappointment but stated the club has good players in midfield and signing a replacement on transfer deadline day would be difficult. The team is leading 3-0 in the League Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.

Despite Eriksen's injury, United remains at the top of the Premier League table and aims to win the title. The club will need to find a replacement within the current squad or through transfers. The team remains confident and determined to achieve their goals for the rest of the season.
