Masari Supervises Speedy Completion Of Kafur-Mahuta Road

The Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, has supervised the ongoing construction of the 23.3 Kilometre Kafur-Mahuta Road in the state.

The governor who visited the site at Kafur Local Government Area of the state, said the visit was to inspect the ongoing construction.

He further directed the speedy completion of the project. 

The Permanent Secretary of the state's Ministry of Works, Engr. Abdulrahman Usman led the governor round the project site. 

Usman told the governor that the project manager of Mother Cat Nigeria Limited, the project contractor, assured him of their determination for the timely completion of the project.

The governor also visited to inspect the ongoing construction of the Sulma Dam expansion project in the LGA.

The governor noted that the expansion was meant to increase the Dam storage capacity to over four million cubic litres of water.

The Dam is being expanded to increase many opportunities for irrigation and other domestic activities by several communities in the area.

The Governor also directed for the timely completion of the project.
