Game is over and the final score is Liverpool 4-0 Crystal Palace AllNews Reports

The Red were the better side in the game in the game in terms of possession, chances created, chances converted, pass accuracy, shot on target.

In the first half, just before 25 minutes in to the match, Alexander-Arnold stepped up to take the set piece and curled the ball into the top right corner of the net. Hennessey stood no chance with that effort. What a wonderful strike!

The second goal came at the ending of first half which was ruthless from Salah! Fabinho sent a glorious pass down the right channel for Salah to chase. The Egyptian managed to run off Van Aanholt who lost him, kept his composure, brought it down, and steered the ball into the bottom right corner from the middle of the box.

Into the second half, Robertson got the ball with a sliding tackle, sent it to his right for Fabinho, with 55 minutes on the clock, the Brazilian unleashed a pinpoint long-range strike from distance that sailed beyond Hennessey and into the bottom right corner.

Viewers would think that was all but the Egyptian picked the ball up on the halfway line and plays a first-time pass beyond the Palace defense for Mane to chase. The winger latched onto the loose ball, set himself, and steered his shot into the bottom right corner following a quick counter.

The last attempt in the match came when Sakho failed to deal with a lofted cross from the left and Salah sees his effort blocked by Van Aanholt. The loose ball drops to Williams, who forced Sakho to put his body on the line to deny the hosts a fifth goal.
