May 29: Peter Obi Speaks Ahead Of Tinubu's Inauguration

Peter Obi has admonished citizens on toeing the path of peace ahead of the inauguration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on May 29.

Obi, who is challenging Tinubu's emergence at the election tribunal spoke on the sidelines of an event in Kaduna State, urging his supporters and others to remain calm and law-abiding.

According to the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, maintaining religious harmony, ethnic harmony and coexistence is of utmost importance.

“We must continue to live on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, coexistence, that is the most important thing for now.

“Let’s have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where the government will concentrate on caring for the sufferings of the people,” he said.

Speaking further, Obi harped on the need for a peaceful coexistence while acknowledging the concerns and issues trailing the 2023 polls.

He also advised the incoming administration to address youth unemployment, poverty, and insecurity, particularly in the Northern region.
