Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has celebrated his colleague Zubby Michael on the occasion of his 37th birthday.

Zubby Michael began his career in acting in Yola, Adamawa at the young age of eight.

His first professional appearance on screen was in the movie 'Missing Rib' but is best known for his role in 'The Three Widows.

On November 25, 2019, he was given a political appointment as the Special Adviser on Media to the Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano.

He was awarded a certificate of recognition for his contribution to the City Radio 89.7 FM youth empowerment initiative in Anambra State.

Zubby Michael once dated the younger sister of popular Nigeria artist P-square now Mr. P and Rudeboy. However, their relationship couldn’t lead to marriage.

However, things could not go further due to conflicts of interest, pushing the couple to go their separate ways.

"I really would not have wanted this to be public, if not for the sake of our future relationship. You see, Mary has been a very good girl to me, especially while this whole love affair lasted.

"To me, I think the reason we broke up is from me. I did not want it to go on any longer because I am not ready to settle down, and that, I believe, Mary seems to want now", the actor said.
