Mayorkun Reveals Davido Is His Inspiration [Video]

Nigerian music sensation Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel aka Mayorkun has named his boss Davido as his biggest inspiration.

According to him in an interview on That Grape Juice, he said Davido has inspired the way he writes and the way he moves generally in the music world.

Davido and MayorkunHe added that he lived with the DMW boss for almost three years and Davido is like his big brother.

"Davido has inspired me in every way. As a musician, as a human being as everything. I lived with him for like 2, 3 years.

"He is like my big bro. He has inspired the way I write and how I move generally," Mayorkun said.

Speaking on why he named his latest album 'Back in Office' Mayorkun said that it was because he noticed he would not be dropping any music in six months.

"I think it was because I noticed I would not drop music for like six months," he said.

"Back in Office seems like the best title. This particular album is different because it has a lot of experiments. There are some unusual link ups that you won't see coming."
