Mercy Aigbe Slams Ex-Husband Lanre Gentry

Actress Mercy Aigbe has responded to her ex-husband Lanre Gentry's social media post in which he expressed his joy at marrying a new wife.

In 2017, the actress and her ex-husband divorced due to domestic abuse. Gentry married another woman over the weekend, claiming she had brought him serenity after a series of ugly arguments on social media.

Mercy Aigbe declared in a new Instagram post that she is no one's ex and included a pushpin symbol.

Lanre Gentry married his new bride, Oluwabusayo, in a ceremony attended by family, friends, and supporters of the tycoon yesterday.

The billionaire praised his new spouse on Instagram, thanking her for being his prayer warrior and always being there for him.

“Having a good wife by one's side is a great blessing from God in every journey of a man's life,” he wrote in a heartfelt greeting to his spouse. Thank you for sticking by my side.

Meanwhile, Aigbe pleaded with her husband to sign the divorce papers in a recent interview.

She said, “Please, everyone should appeal to him to sign the divorce papers. He has even refused to accept them. We are still married and not yet divorced. The divorce is not yet finalised.”
