Microbiology Professor Becomes JABU's Acting VC

Professor Kehinde Eniola has been appointed by the President of the Christ Apostolic Church of Nigeria and abroad, Pastor S.O. Oladele, as the acting Vice-Chancellor of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Osun State.

The appointment was contained in a statement by the Acting Director of Public Relations and Marketing Unit of the university, Dr. Ayodeji Aiyesimoju, on Wednesday after the death of the third Vice-Chancellor, Dr.  Ayodeji Aiyesimoju, in March 2022.

The statement included that the new acting VC is a 52-year-old Professor of Environmental and Public Health  Microbiology.

The pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the institution’s Governing Council, Professor Anthony Imevbore, praised the elevated professor for his commitment to the institution and the Christ Apostolic Church, noting his confidence in the Microbiology Professor's capability to lead the university excellently.

“He (Eniola) goes the extra mile in carrying out any assignment given to him as regards the progress of the university," Imevbore commended.
