Microsoft Tests New Ways To Improve Windows 11’s Start-Up

Redmond tech giant, Microsoft has started testing new ways to customise the operating system without backtracking on Windows 11’s major design.

Users can have the renewed Start menu show more pinned apps with the latest Windows 11 Insider build (22509), or more recommended apps and files, in addition to the default mode which balances the two.

The Insider build is expected to bring the date and clock back to the taskbar on additional monitor screens among other changes. Microsoft also noted that tweak isn't going to appear for every Insider user.

The new Windows 11 Insider build is also expected to make it easier to use the Edge web browser while using Narrator, Microsoft's built-in screen reader. Users are expected to see more options like Advanced Sharing settings, like Network Discovery and File/Printer Sharing details about your printers and scanners within the Settings app and more.
