Military Vows To Eliminate Terrorists For Killing Personnel, Vigilantes In Kebbi

The Nigerian Military High Command has spit fire on the killing of its personnel in Kebbi state while vowing to eliminate all perpetrators.

The command stated that the terrorists will feel the full wrath of its strength over the renewed attacks on vigilantes, innocent civilians and soldiers in the state.

This was disclosed on Thursday at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja by the Director, Defence Media Operations, Major-General Benard Onyeuko.

While responding to a question by a Daily Trust reporter, Onyeuko stated that the military has no business negotiating with the bandits' kingpin, Kachalla Bello Taraji as well as any other criminal.

AllNews had reported that fifteen soldiers were killed in a fresh bandits' attack on Kanya, a village in Danko/Wasaga Local Government Area of Kebbi state.

The attack came barely 24 hours after about 65 local vigilantes and several civilians were killed in a bandits' attack on Ikara village.

The attack took place in the early hours of Wednesday leading to the burning of vehicles while many were taken hostage.
