MNJTF Commander Visits OPHK, Introduces New Air Commander In Borno

The Commander Sector 4 Multinational Joint Task Force ( MNJTF ), Col.-Major Mamane Sani Kiaou has visited the headquarters of the Operation Hadin Kai in Borno State.

Kiaou was received by the Theatre Commander of the OPHK, Major General Christopher Musa at the Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri. 

The Sector 4 Commander appreciated the OPHK Theatre Commander for his warm reception.

He said the purpose of the visit was to brief the Theatre Command on activities of Operation Lake Sanity II and introduce the new Air Component Commander of the MNJTF.

He further commended troops of the OPHK for all the successes recorded in the fight against insurgency.

He urged them to sustain the onslaught against terrorists while maintaining intensity of attacks. 

Kiaou also promised to sustain the collaboration between the two commands to decimate terrorists' activities within the Lake Chad region. 

In his remark, the OPHK commander, Musa appreciated the Sector 4 Commander alongside his entourage for the visit.

He further commended them for their efforts in peace building around the Northeast and Lake Chad region.

He added that the OPHK is resolute in its determination to defeat the terrorists until total peace and tranquility is restored within the sub-region. 

Present during the visit were the Deputy Theatre Commander OPHK, Major General MS Ahmed, the Component Commanders OPHK, the Commander 7 Div Garrison, the Chief of Staff Headquarters Theatre Command and Principal Staff Officers of Headquarters Theatre Command.
