Nigerian media icon Mo Abudu is the 98th most powerful woman in the world.
Forbes named the EbonyLife Group founder among the 100 Most Influential and Powerful Women in the World for her outstanding contribution to the media and entertainment sectors.
The honour comes in the wake of Abudu's impressive partnership deals with Sony Pictures Television, AMC Network, and streaming giant Netflix.

The media mogul's Netflix deal is the first time an African company penned a multi-film and TV deal with the platform.
Alongside Abudu, the former Minister of Finance and current Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, also made the power list, occupying the 91st position.
