Mohbad
The Nigerian Police Force has officially commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the untimely death of singer Mohbad.
This investigation is being conducted jointly by the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IG), Kayode Egbetokun, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa.
As part of this high-profile inquiry, a specialized team of seasoned detectives from the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has been carefully assembled.
Their primary objective is to unravel the complex circumstances that led to the demise of the renowned artist within the Nigerian music industry.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, conveyed in a statement issued recently; “We encourage family members or close associates with valuable information to approach the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to assist in this process.
The statement also urged caution, warning individuals against making statements or engaging in activities that might jeopardise the ongoing investigation.
