Mohbad’s mother has made a heartfelt plea to Nigerians, seeking their assistance in locating Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records.

During a visit by Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, she alleged that Naira Marley, in collaboration with Sam Larry, subjected her son to frequent beatings and harassment.

She revealed the distressing experiences her son endured, recounting that he would often cry and face physical abuse, which prevented him from attending scheduled shows.

Expressing her unfamiliarity with Sam Larry, she also urged Nigerians to help her find Naira Marley, who she claimed had treated her son like a slave during his time at the record label.

Mohbad’s mother shared her son’s plea not to let them harm him and expressed her reassurance that she knew people who could help.

“My child will be crying all the time. They will be beating him whenever he goes for a show. A show he is supposed to go for he will not be able to attend the show, they will be beating him.

“Sam Larry, I don’t know who that is. I don’t know anybody. I don’t know any strong person. I have seen you people now You have promised me. Help me find Naira out, he used my son as a slave. When my son was with Naira, he never gave me money. Please help me find him out.

“My child will be telling me please do not let them kill me. I will also be telling him that I know people and that I will meet some people. He will tell me please do not allow them to kill me,” she said.

Police authorities have initiated a probe into the matter, and the public eagerly anticipates the outcome. Mohbad's body has been exhumed, prepared for autopsy, as further steps are taken to uncover the truth.
