Molta: Yahaya Mourns Late Permanent Secretary

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed sadness over the death of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Dr Danladi Bala Molta.

Late Molta died on Wednesday, aged 58, after a brief illness.

Yahaya described the death as a great loss to the state.

The governor sympathised with the family and relatives of the deceased in a statement on Thursday. 

According to Ismaila Uba Misilli, spokesperson to the governor, Yahaya said Late Molta was "an outstanding veterinary Doctor, seasoned administrator and dedicated civil servant who gave his all in the service of Gombe state in various capacities."

The governor also prayed for the deceased to be granted God's eternal rest.

He enjoined the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that the late Dr Molta served his people and humanity diligently and left remarkable footprints. 

"The Governor, on behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, his associates as well as the Tangale community over the great loss. 

"The late Dr Danladi Molta is survived by a wife, Mrs Felicia Danladi Molta, a daughter and many relations.

"Meanwhile, a statement by the family, indicates that burial arrangement is slated for Saturday 25th March 2023 at his home town Banganje, Billiri LGA," added Misilli.
